Rishes Custom Hardwood Flooring opened for business in 1992 and has been serving Northern New York for over 25 years. I began finishing and refinishing hardwood floors in Redmond, Washington in 1990 where I worked on many flooring projects throughout the Seattle area and on many islands throughout Puget Sound and Lake Washington.

In 1992 I returned to New York to raise my family and start my own business.

Over the last 25 years I have worked with many contractors, architects, and homeowners throughout the Thousand Island Region and throughout St. Lawrence County. We are often brought in to use our knowledge of wood and finishes to restore old millwork and restore floors to their original grandeur. In addition to hardwood flooring we also install custom inlayed staircases, tile flooring, laminate flooring, showers and bathrooms, luxury sheet vinyl and tile, mill and install custom wood molding, restore intricate wood working, and install carpet.

We are very proud to be known as a leading expert in our field as well as working at local Universities and alongside top contractors and architects in the area.
